Become Part of Our Story
Membership in the Children of the American Revolution offers young people an opportunity to discover their family history, honor the people and events that shaped our nation, serve their communities, develop leadership skills, and form friendships along the way.
The Moses Clark Society welcomes families interested in learning more about C.A.R. membership and becoming part of our continuing story in Kent County.
Who Can Join?
Membership in the National Society Children of the American Revolution is open to individuals under the age of 22 who are lineally descended from a patriot of the American Revolution.
Don’t know whether your family has a qualifying patriot? That’s okay. We can help families understand the membership process and determine where to begin.
What Do Members Do?
From community service projects and patriotic commemorations to historical research, field trips, programs, and social activities, members have opportunities to participate according to their interests and abilities.
How to Join
Joining the Children of the American Revolution begins with documenting descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. The Moses Clark Society can help prospective members and their families understand the application process and determine the appropriate next steps.
Already part of a DAR or SAR family? In many cases, an established family lineage can help simplify the application process. Our Senior Society members can help guide your family through the documentation and application requirements.
As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, new members joining during 2026 will receive a special America 250 commemorative membership certificate.
